1965 – 1970

Southern Rhodesian Army Service Corps Air Despatcher wings, Officers Dress Uniform, some verdigris on the gold wire, see photos, worn on the left sleeve, very scarce.  This version with the abbreviation S.R.A.S.C. in the circle was only worn for five years, 1965-70, and they were a very small unit, with very few officers.

This is the actual badge photographed in Colin Owen’s book The Military Badges and Insignia of Southern Africa, has some grey paper on the back, from where it was removed from the card on which he photographed the badges, and three small rusty pin pricks, removed from a display board, otherwise near mint condition, see photos.
