British Infantry Officers sword, 1895/97 pattern, GRV, nickel plated steel basket hilt/hand guard with Kings Crown and GRV cipher, wire bound fish skin covered grip, 83cm blade, HW (Henry Wilkinson) brass proof mark, within the Star of David at the ricasso on one side and HENRY WILKINSON PALLMALL LONDON etched on the other side, hilt stamped 0 over 129, two arrows and an inspectors stamp on edge of blade, next to hilt, some surface rust on hilt and scabbard has been very badly recovered with leather, blade in overall good condition
