7328 : Portuguese Helicopter Pilot camouflage flightsuit, Large size

1960’s – 1970’s

Portuguese Helicopter Pilot “Lizard” pattern camouflage coveralls, Large size, label removed, 120cm across the chest, under the arms, 56cm sleeves, under arm to cuff, 81cm inseam, between the legs to bottom, COMET zippers – all zippers working, double pen pockets, or pencil flares, on the left sleeve, on small tear, 1cm x 2cm, on the right backside, otherwise near mint condition.

As used by Portuguese Helicopter Pilots in Angola and Mocambique, scarce.  The Officer I bought this from was issued it at 5 Reconnaissance Commando (5 Recce) and told me the small tear in the backside happened while climbing over a barbed wire fence.  He only wore it once in Mozambique.
