7191 : East German rice fleck or rain drop pattern camouflage jacket, size M 52

1965 – 1990

East German rice fleck pattern camouflage jacket, size M 52, 112cm (44 inches) chest, sleeves 60cm (23.5 inches) from shoulder to cuff, and back length 74cm (29 inches) from under collar to bottom, grey metal buttons on cuffs and sleeve pockets, brown plastic buttons for breast pockets and front button-up, and beige composite buttons where a hood could be buttoned on – hood not present, small spot of brown paint on right sleeve pocket, otherwise near mint condition.  Captured during Rhodesia Bush War.  Known as ‘Strichtarn’ in German, also known as the raindrop pattern camo, used by ZIPRA and ZANU during the Rhodesian Bush War.
