Royal Canadian Air Force Camp Borden 2 Technical Training School Electrical Technicians flight suit / coveralls patch.

2TTS was a primary hub for training aircraft maintenance and technical ground trades. It specialised in instructing personnel on how to service and maintain airframes and complex electrical systems.

Camp Borden is widely recognised as the “birthplace of the RCAF” having served as an air training school since 1917.

2TTS was particularly active in this form from the late 1930s through the late 1950s. In 1958, the school was reorganised and eventually disbanded to form specialised schools, such as the Aircraft Trades School.
