10948 : Reconnaissance Regiment higher formation balkie

South African Reconnaissance Regiments / Special Forces higher formation bar, scarce, one batch made but never worn as the Recce’s became 45 Parachute Brigade before these balkies could be issued, and the colours were then changed to maroon.  These balkies were recalled and most were destroyed.
