1996 –

Rhodesia Selous Scouts blazer badge samples.  In 1996 I contacted the Selous Scouts Association to find out whether they would be interested in me having blazer badges made for them.

After they confirmed they would I had three samples made from three different companies, based on the image in Mark Radford’s book on Rhodesian badges, Service Before Self, one cut to shape and two which would form the pocket of the blazer.

I sent, what I thought was the best of the three badges to the Assoc and they decided it was to have some small changes made, see attached letters.

In the end the badge was made to their specifiations and I sold a few to members and on my website.
