At 5 am on 29 December 1984 Angolan rebel forces known as UNITA attacked the mining town of Cafunfo and took British engineer Glen Dixon and his Filipino crew hostage. This is his first-hand account of the epic march that he and his fellow hostages underwent until they were finally released into South Africa 75 days later.
